Privacy Policy

• Export processing happens locally in your browser.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your chat content to our servers during export.
• Exported files are saved only on your device.
• One optional Pro license can unlock all three extensions. Verification sends only a license key, never chat content.

When you start an export in the relevant extension, it may read conversation data from that platform in your already signed-in browser tab:

• ChatGPT Power Exporter: titles, conversation URLs, and messages on chatgpt.com or chat.openai.com, using your logged-in ChatGPT session (same-origin requests to ChatGPT and/or the page). A temporary session token may be read in-memory only to request your own conversation data from ChatGPT; it is not stored by us or sent to our servers.
• Claude Power Exporter: titles, conversation URLs, and messages on claude.ai, using your logged-in Claude session (same-origin conversation endpoints and/or the page). Session data is used in-memory only to request your own chats; it is not stored by us or sent to our servers.
• Gemini Power Exporter: titles, conversation URLs, and messages on gemini.google.com, using your logged-in Gemini/Google session (same-origin conversation endpoints and/or the page). Session tokens are used in-memory only to request your own chats; they are not stored by us or sent to our servers.

Each extension only runs on its own host after you open the popup and start an export. It does not run in the background without your action.

Data is used solely to:

• Build a structured export file (HTML, JSON, or Markdown)
• Trigger a download to your computer via the Chrome downloads API

No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking of conversation content is included.

• The Service does not maintain a remote database of your chats.
• Conversation content is not sent to the developer during export.
• Optional Pro license verification sends only your license key string to www.gptexport.tech.
• chrome.storage on your device may hold a license key, verified Pro status, and free-plan usage counters. Chat content is not stored there.
• Temporary in-memory processing occurs only during an active export.

• activeTab: interact with the ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini tab you are using for that export
• scripting: inject the exporter if the content script is not yet loaded
• storage: save Pro license and free export usage locally
• downloads: save the export file to your device
• host_permissions: chatgpt.com / chat.openai.com, claude.ai, or gemini.google.com. Only for the matching extension, to read conversation data from your signed-in session when you export (each extension may use that platform's own same-origin conversation endpoints and/or the page)
• host_permissions (gptexport.tech): optional Pro license verification only

The extensions interact with ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and Gemini (Google) in your signed-in browser tab. Each exporter may request your own conversation data from that platform's same-origin endpoints using your logged-in session so long chats export completely and quickly; that traffic goes to OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, not to GPT Export servers. Your use of those products is subject to their terms and privacy policies. GPT Export is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data.
